⛓️ Recipe — 4 steps, listed below, all in your browser.

The exact steps

  1. Decode each picture
  2. Cap resolution at 2560 px
  3. Place on an A4 page (JPEG 85%)
  4. Combine into one PDF

A single PDF, pages in the order you added the files.

Why this chain

Portals that want "one document" get exactly that: every photo becomes an A4 page, in order. The 2560 px cap keeps a 10-photo upload from becoming a 60 MB monster while staying sharp enough to zoom.

Doing it without the recipe

The single-tool route is Image to PDF, which already combines many pictures into one document and is the better choice when the pictures are already the right size and format. The chain adds the two steps that route skips: it decodes HEIC and other formats a PDF cannot hold directly, and it caps each picture at 2560 px before it becomes a page, which is the difference between a receipt bundle you can email and one you cannot.

When this chain is the right one

Expense claims, ID and document scans, insurance photographs, anything where several pictures have to arrive as one attachment in a fixed order. The order is the order you added the files, so add them in the order you want them read. It is not the tool for a photo album — 85% JPEG pages at 2560 px are sized for reading and printing on paper, not for looking at closely on a retina screen.

Honest limits

Pages are images — there is no selectable text (run OCR later if you need it). Order matters: add files in the order they should appear.
