How to share a PDF online
Give a finished PDF a link people can open in their browser. Publish documents to the library, discover public files and manage access to your own publications.
Get started in three steps
- Sign in and choose Publish a PDF. Add a title, description and tags for a document you have permission to share.
- Choose public visibility for library discovery or an unlisted link for people you send it to.
- Open the reader to check the document, then share its link. Manage or revoke sharing from your publications.
What you can do
- An online PDF reader with accessible text and document search.
- Public discovery by title, description and tags.
- Unlisted links, publication controls and document reporting.
Frequently asked questions
Can I share a PDF without making it searchable in the library?
Choose unlisted visibility. Anyone with the link can access an unlisted publication, so treat the link as access to the document. Public publications can appear in library search.
What are the PDF upload limits?
Library uploads support PDFs up to 30 MB and 500 pages, subject to your account storage allowance. Encrypted or active-content PDFs may be rejected during validation.
Can I take back a shared PDF?
You can revoke a sharing link or delete your publication. This prevents future access through that link, but it cannot recall copies that other people already downloaded.
