How this site is written

Editorial Policy

How tool pages and guides are researched, written, reviewed, dated and corrected — and what we refuse to publish.

filehugger.com publishes two kinds of content: tool pages that describe what each converter actually does, and longer guides about common file tasks. This page explains how that content is produced and corrected.

How content is researched and written

  • Capability statements on tool pages are checked against the tool itself before publishing: we run the conversion with real sample files and describe the behaviour we observed — including what a conversion loses, not only what it keeps.
  • Content is drafted with the help of AI writing tools and is then reviewed, edited and fact-checked by the operating team at Brothers IT Yazılım Arge ve Bilişim Hizmetleri Tic. San. Ltd. Şti., who test the described behaviour in the product. Nothing is published on autopilot.
  • We write for tasks (“get this file under 2 MB”), not for search-engine word counts. A page is finished when the task is covered, not when it reaches a length target.

What we will not publish

  • No invented authors, credentials, user reviews, testimonials or usage numbers.
  • No test results we did not actually measure; where we cannot measure something we say “unknown” instead of guessing.
  • No duplicated articles rewritten per keyword. One task, one page.

Dates and corrections

  • Publish and update dates reflect real changes. We do not bump dates to look fresh.
  • Product changes that affect published content are recorded in the changelog.
  • Found something wrong? Email info@brothers.net.tr — corrections are made in place and noted when they are material.

Advertising separation

Advertising never influences what a tool page claims. Ads are visually labelled, never placed around the upload area or action buttons, and result/download screens carry no advertising at all.
